Lexy Wright
Lexy Wright earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work with a concentration in Children, Youth, and Families from George Mason University in 2024. She is currently practicing under the supervision of Pamela Haefner at Thrive Under 5 as she works toward becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
Lexy has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in both community mental health and private practice settings. At Thrive Under 5, she uses play therapy to help children develop emotional regulation skills, strengthen coping strategies, and build resilience — while also supporting parents in feeling more confident, connected, and supported throughout the process.
Lexy also works with women navigating pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, and the transition into motherhood, as well as concerns related to anxiety, depression, chronic stress, self-esteem, and relationship challenges. She is currently working toward her Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C) and has specialized training in prenatal and postpartum mental health.
Her approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s unique needs. Lexy strives to create a supportive space where clients feel safe to explore their experiences, build resilience, and move toward healing and growth.
